! WANTED ! Hello everyone, for my master thesis in interior architecture at KU Leuven (Belgium) I am doing research on the Nubian society in the town of Al Kilh Sharq, Egypt. Concretely, this is a design assignment ('a generous homestay') for another culture. The space should bring both locals and visitors into a new world, emerging from an interweaving of the two cultures. Normally, my intention was to do fieldwork with the other students and teachers in this town, but because of Covid-19, it has become a much bigger adventure to get in touch with the local people. Getting in touch with this target group is essential and would help me a lot in this research. Therefore, I am looking for people who have done research there before or people who have travelled there or people who come from this region (Edfu).
