The U.S. Army is set to launch a Deep Sensing Cross-Functional Team in the coming weeks, as announced by Gen. Randy George at the McAleese Defense Programs Conference. This initiative, directed by the Army Futures Command, underscores deep sensing as a pivotal focus for the Army, echoing Secretary Christine Wormuth's emphasis on enhancing the Army's ability to "see and sense farther and more persistently" across the battlefield than adversaries. This effort aims at modernizing aerial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities to process vast amounts of data from diverse sources, supporting the Army's primary modernization goal of long-range precision fires. The deep sensing team will explore various platforms, including high-altitude balloons and jets, to determine the optimal capabilities and formations for future operations, marking a significant step in the Army's strategic modernization efforts. #army #deepSensing #crossFunctionalTeam #ArmyFuturesCommand #modernization #longRangePrecisionFires #intelligence #surveillance #reconnaissance #militaryInnovation Source- https://lnkd.in/eS6Cani4
