The Gulf space sector is rapidly growing into a hub of global space activity. We're excited at the opportunity to be part of this through our collaboration with the Etlaq Spaceport. It's been a partnership many months in the making and through which we've had the chance to explore the beautiful country of Oman. Only a handful of people in the world can type Ctrl+N, open a blank CAD file, start designing a rocket engine and then scale a team and program to a fleet of engines hitting major qualification milestones. Ryan Kuhn is the one I know and he leads an incredibly talented group of hardware engineers at ABL Space Systems. Our team accomplished a lot this year, which is highlighted by our 2023 photos of the year! We're proud of this work and looking forward to even bigger things in 2024. I’m thrilled to announce Kevin Sagis is joining ABL as Chief Product Officer and Enterprise Chief Engineer! Earlier this year, Kevin supported our Flight 1 Independent Review Board, where his perspectives were invaluable. Everyone at ABL, myself included, looks up to Kevin as a strong, tenacious engineering leader, who has been seasoned by many successful launch programs. Last week the FAA accepted our Flight 1 report, closing out the investigation and paving the way for Flight 2. A big thank you to everyone on the ABL Space Systems team who worked tirelessly on this initiative, as well as to our partners at the Federal Aviation Administration and The Aerospace Corporation for their thoughtful review and insight. We’re looking forward to our return to flight!
