India’s young people are driving change, and partners across sectors are joining together to back their ambitions. Chief Executive Officer of Generation Unlimited Kevin Frey is in India, engaging with young innovators, government leaders, and changemakers to strengthen partnerships that help young people move from learning to earning. At the YuWaah India at UNICEF Leaders Council, co-chaired by Dr. Pallavi Jain Govil, Shombi Sharp, and Sanjeev Krishan, leaders from government, business, and United Nations partners including Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs Felipe Paullier Olivera joined together to reimagine how collaboration can help every young person become #WorkLifeReady. The discussion focused on centering young people as co-creators of solutions, nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets, leveraging technology, and driving stronger public-private-youth partnerships to unlock opportunities at scale. During his visit, Kevin also shared insights in a separate interview, highlighting how collaboration with government, private sector, and corporate partners can advance shared goals and the emerging job roles likely to gain prominence in India’s near future.
