Youth lead the way for a greener Mumbai! Over 400 young volunteers collected more than 1,900 kilograms of plastic waste, showcasing how youth leadership can drive environmental impact. Led by YuWaah India at UNICEF and Project Mumbai, the clean-up was supported through collaboration across communities, organizations, and leaders including Kevin Frey (CEO, Generation Unlimited), Giorgia Varisco (Chief, YuWaah), Sanjay Singh (Chief, UNICEF Maharashtra) and shishir joshi (Founder, Project Mumbai). Through the global #GreenRising movement, UNICEF's Generation Unlimited and partners are empowering young people with the skills and opportunities to lead on climate action, become #WorkLifeReady, and build a more sustainable future for all generations.
