So many highlights from #NYCC2023! The collecting community came out to explore the eBay Market-verse — rare Funkos, a new MetaZoo set, artist signings, exclusive comic cover variants and coins, the chance to challenge an MTG legend — we had it all! And with our eBay Live studio broadcasting direct from the Con floor, collectors could get access to exclusive drops, wherever they were. We also continued our Trade Nights Across America tour with a special stop in NYC! Thank you to all of our partners, sellers and the NYCC community for another fantastic event! #GenCon2023 was a blast! Yes, our booth was a castle guarded by a dragon – and it was home to some real treasures – from rare MTG cards, to exclusive swag and giveaways, to a Roca Sorter (which can scan and sort thousands of CCG cards in a few hours), and more! We hosted some fun eBay Lives with top sellers, had world-renowned artists doing signings at our booth, and eBay and TCGplayer teams showed up together to support our community of players, collectors and sellers. Passion and unity were on full display at Gen Con LLC , from the detailed costumes, to the rooms of gamers connecting and collaborating with each other – it’s why I love being a part of this world.

I'm excited to work even more closely with the TCGplayer team – I'm so grateful for your partnership and I’m inspired by all the work we’ve done so far. More great things to come! It’s been an INCREDIBLE week at The National, meeting our passionate community of buyers and sellers – and hosting our very first in-person vault submission experience. We’ve had a fantastic response to the service, with collectors sharing how easy it’s been to secure their cards in the eBay vault for seamless future sales. I actually purchased the most special card in my collection at the show this weekend, one I’ve been thinking about for a very long time -- and I was able to submit it directly to our vault, experiencing the process as a customer myself. I feel so proud and confident about what we’ve built for our trading card community. And collectors can trust that their cards are in good company -- I’ve seen some really cool stuff headed to the vault, including Rick Probstein’s collection of PSA 10 Jordan rookies! We also hosted a stellar lineup of eBay Live events throughout The National, and I got photo opps with some of my heroes – it was nice to just be a fan for a little bit! I feel inspired by the team’s work and dedication to make this week a success, and I’m immensely grateful to our buyers and sellers – who are truly our partners – for continuing to work with us in service of The Hobby. Together we’re making great things happen. The team is leaving The National feeling energized, full of ideas, and ready for what’s next!
