In the 1990's, when FOX was growing as a network, it was still not considered a major competitor to the established "big three" of ABC, CBS, and NBC, but from FOX's launch it had the advantage of airing programs that appealed towards a younger demographic of the 18 to 34 age group, while some programs that were carried by the "big three" attracted an older viewing audience. 😺 🥛
