🏆 Congratulations to Chromalloy — Winner of the Inaugural “Coolest Thing Made in Florida” Competition! 🏆 Announced live today at the Future of Florida Forum, Chromalloy, based in Palm Beach County, has been named the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Florida winner for its Jet Engine Blades — showcasing the precision and innovation driving Florida’s aerospace industry. Jason Mahon, Deputy Secretary of Economic Development and Florida’s first Chief Manufacturing Officer with FloridaCommerce, helped announce the winner on stage during the segment celebrating Florida’s manufacturing excellence. We also proudly recognize BlueWind Technology LLC of Escambia County as this year’s finalist for their Nacelles for Wind Turbines, representing Florida’s growing composites and renewable energy sector. 👏 Thank you to the thousands of Floridians who voted and helped make this inaugural competition a statewide success — with more than 400,000 votes celebrating the innovation, talent, and people powering Florida’s economy.
