🚅 Last weekend was different than usual for eXact lab After two years of pandemics and virtual conferences, we returned to meet the community and many developers: a great chance to enrich ourselves with new ideas and technologies! In fact, our two employees,Jacopo Nespolo and Marco Franzon, attended #PyConIT2022, held in Florence. Here, they had the opportunity to get in touch with many companies and developers to stay up-to-date with the latest Python development trends. eXact lab strongly believes that training and continuous learning are fundamental to create cutting edge solutions. 💻 Not only training but also sharing, Jacopo Nespolo gave a talk on his approach to the design phase of a webapp. In his talk “So many ingredients in the webapp kitchen!”, he gave a hint of his decision making process when selecting the components for a new web service. The analogy with cooking is quickly made, a good dish comes from the correct choice of ingredients, but also from knowing how to combine them correctly. The key points to keep in mind are: • Take your time to evaluate the pros and cons of each ingredient; • Check if other chefs already tried a similar dish; • Build it starting from the bottom to the top: framework, storage, database, auth, api; solid bases ensure that you don't have to throw the final dish in the rubbish. • The selection of ingredients cannot ignore the taste of those who end up eating the dish. 🏡Take Home Message: As in the kitchen, developing a personal taste is just as important when developing web apps as mastering the technologies themselves. Knowledge allows you to choose the right ingredients and blend them together to yield the perfect dish to your customer! #python
