In her own words; Judi Dench "Don’t prioritise your looks my friend, as they won’t last the journey. Your sense of humour though, will only get better with age. Your intuition will grow and expand like a majestic cloak of wisdom. Your ability to choose your battles, will be fine-tuned to perfection. Your capacity for stillness, for living in the moment, will blossom. Your desire to live each and every moment will transcend all other wants. Your instinct for knowing what (and who) is worth your time, will grow and flourish like ivy on a castle wall. Don’t prioritise your looks my friend, they will change forevermore, that pursuit is one of much sadness and disappointment. Prioritise the uniqueness that make you you, and the invisible magnet that draws in other like-minded souls to dance in your orbit. These are the things which will only get better."

The Ontario Government | Gouvernement de l’Ontario has launched The Black Alliance Internship Program (BAIP). The BAIP is a one-year paid #internship program, that offers recent Black and Black bilingual (French-English) post-secondary graduates an opportunity to intern across a variety of professional positions within the Ontario Public Service (OPS). The #OPS is committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities it serves and to promote a diverse, anti-racist, inclusive, accessible, merit-based, respectful, and equitable workplace and this is a great step in bringing brilliant black leaders into the organization. Find out more about the program using the following URL : https://lnkd.in/gEXHA8E8 Apply for the internships by selecting "internships" within the "Select Job Category" section of the OPS Careers website: Ontario Public Service Careers - Search for Jobs (gov.on.ca)

Some of you may know that Muslims are obligated to pray 5 times as they go about their day. The timings of said prayers occur during the typical 9-5, and for a lot of practicing Muslims, this is seen as an opportunity to take 5-10 minutes to depart from the stress of work. Muslims perform ablution- which is the washing of their hands and feet before praying. Performing ablution can be difficult in normal bathrooms but CIBC achieved a new level of inclusion by not only providing a prayer room, but also a washing station to perform ablution on multiple floors at the new CIBC Square! (81 Bay Street) Proud to be a part of such an inclusive company! #CIBC #InclusivitythroughAction #inclusion #opportunity
