Yesterday, with financial support of The Centre for Effective Altruism I launched a new initiative in Republic of Georgia - Opportunity Center (შესაძლებლობის ცენტრი). Opportunity Center aims to help prospective Georgian students to think about their career critically, apply to the world's leading universities, and use their skills to work on the world's and Georgia's most pressing issues, from AI safety research to mental health advocacy. We are doing so by providing information, offering 1-on-1 consultations, and funding application & test-prep process for high-potential students with economic needs (all of this completely free of charge for students). We have long way to go, but this where we are starting!
