I am saddened and dismayed by the rising tide of violence against members of the Asian community. At Goldman Sachs, we have no tolerance for xenophobia or bigotry of any kind, and we’re committed to building a workplace and a society where all are safe and welcome.
Oh god how awful
Wonderful sentiment. Bravo. Please consider following up with decisive action. For example, Ivy League schools admission processes make it much harder for Asian Americans. Call them out on it. If you believe in merit, demand others use merit only in decision making.
Appreciate that you are taking a strong and vocal stand against this deplorable racism!
Totally agree!
So what has Goldman done to address this? We don’t need platitudes and false concern. Where was Goldman (and other IBs who helped underwrite Chinese listings in US) when US categorically delisted Chinese companies?, Where was Goldman in disavoiwing anti-Chinese distortions in the news. There has always been violence against Asians, now it’s just acceptable to be public and violent about it.
Are there any specific reasons to pronounce such a strong statement.
Thank you for speak up and raise the awareness.
I first worked with your firm in The 1960s. I was highly impressed by the knowledge and ability of your staff. I also worked on a few other deals with Goldman and was very Satisfied,
