18 years ago I was part of a long line of production crew that conga danced its way around Lock Keepers Cottages in Bow, East London. It was the end of the final episode of ‘The Big Breakfast’.
C4 has announced that it is rebooting the morning show with Mo Gilligan hosting, as a one-off special, which will form part of its ‘Black Takeover Day’ in May 2021.
They’ve given the producing job to a new team at ITV. I suppose C4 still haven’t forgiven us for our goodbye present, a 20ft high fibre glass garden gnome giving the V sign, which was left outside their Horseferry road HQ on the last day.
