iRobot's Pride employee resource group put together a great agenda of inspirational and educational events for all iRoboteers to participate in to celebrate #PrideMonth. We're committed to honoring Pride history and contributions year-round. Here are some events that took place in June:
❤ Donated to the Trevor Project, the leading US organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning youth
🧡 Sponsored employees to attend the 2022 Pride Summit hosted by Lesbians Who Tech, the largest LGBTQ technology community in the world
💛 Re-iterated our commitment to encouraging pronoun identification and usage on our internal and external communication platforms
💚 Shared resources and benefits specific to the LGBTQ+ community for our employees, including access to transgender healthcare services, guides for transitioning at work, webinars on financial stability and security tailored to LGBTQ+ employees and their families, and more!

In April, we had the opportunity to partner with Kyle Arrington and Players Coalition to help launch the Brandywine Elementary School's new Robotics and Coding curriculum. We know the importance of introducing #STEM to as many kids as possible so they can experience the joys of robotics. Our Root Coding robot allows kids to see the FUN in #coding and we are grateful to find others who share in that passion.
You can always find great words of inspiration here on LinkedIn, and I think #robots can use a little of that too! Roomba is out there working hard, completing over 2.7 million cleaning missions every day. That's what you get when you combine the intelligence of iRobot OS with a powerful pre-clean pep talk!
