UNICEF calls for investment in child nutrition at summit

“The cost of inaction is staggering – morally and economically.” At the Philanthropy Asia Summit in Singapore, UNICEF’s Regional Director for East Asia and the Pacific, June Kunugi, underscored the urgent need to scale up solutions that prevent and treat child undernutrition. But doing that requires serious investment. That’s where the Child Nutrition Fund plays a vital role – mobilizing capital to expand proven interventions, from maternal nutrition and food fortification to the early detection of wasting. https://lnkd.in/g7iEkcCy Philanthropy Asia Alliance | UNICEF East Asia and Pacific

Absolutely! The cost of inaction on child undernutrition is both heartbreaking and costly for societies. Scaling up proven solutions requires bold, sustained investment. The Child Nutrition Fund’s role in mobilizing resources is vital to turning evidence into impact and securing healthier futures for children across the region, thank you 🙌. I fully support this critical effort.
