Well done #CNF for this comprehensive list. The priority settings perfectly represent current stunting, wasting and IPC data. Am particularly impressed by the incorporation of the IPC-Acute malnutrition data in the classification. This allows for a comprehensive, standardized and multi-dimensional analysis that is linked to response strategies. A special call on Governments of these 63 countries to take advantage of this opportunity by: - Prioritizing sustainable, context specific, evidence based and impactful actions, areas of interventions and targets. -Budget match funds in their annual health and nutrition budgets. -Create a roadmap towards independent funding (%100) and implementation. -Create a roadmap towards attaining zero stunting and wasting with clear results. When there is no clear pathway to change, change actions might create positive impact in one area and negatively impact other aspects leading to stagnation or regression.

Every child deserves a chance to thrive, but millions are still held back by stunting, wasting, and anaemia. The Child Nutrition Fund (CNF) is a completely new way to fight child undernutrition. Unlike reactive funding models, CNF works proactively, coordinating global investments to ensure high-impact nutrition actions are fully funded, efficiently delivered, and sustainable. By combining international donor contributions with domestic investments, CNF doubles the impact of every dollar, empowers local manufacturers, and makes life-saving nutrition reach children and women faster and at lower cost. From September 2025, CNF will match contributions up to US$500 million, doubling the impact for children and women—helping transform lives for up to US$1 billion.    Led by UNICEF and supported by visionary partners—including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Gates Foundation, and Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF)—unites donors, governments, and strategic partners to reach millions of children and women with life-changing nutrition. One hundred young leaders from across the Philippines joined our Champions for Peace training on resilience and social cohesion, the first milestone in our three-year programme with KRIS for Peace! 🌱 At RAISE, we don’t just initiate our own projects – we’re also proud to see how our work helps spark new connections between our local partners. A recent example is the emerging partnership between Mamah Mothers Against Malnutrition and Hunger and Ngalo Buwereza Organization (NBO) in Uganda – two organisations working in different ways to strengthen the visibility, rights and livelihoods of home-based workers. Many organizations in developing contexts achieve progress through innovation and dedication, yet only a few manage to create results that endure and replicate across different environments. The difference lies in how lessons from successful cases are studied, adapted, and translated into policy and practice. The paper Case Studies of Successful Capacity-Building in Developing Countries: Lessons for Practice and Policy, published within the NEYA Global Knowledge Base under the Journal of Non-Profit Studies (2025), examines real cases that reveal what makes capacity-building programs effective and sustainable. Imagine a world where nations, regions and municipalities set aside resources to create a global fund and pool of expertise for aid when it’s needed rather than relying on the wealth and benevolence of a few rich countries? The current approach, fraught with inequality and inaction, isn’t the only way or the most sustainable one. Across the globe, we already see people helping one another through different models beyond traditional donor aid. Natural emergencies remind us that resilience is rooted in shared responsibility and investing in mutual aid builds the collective strength for swift and fair response. Now is the time to start working toward something new. Mutual aid could be that path. It has demonstrated real promise and could be a critical part of international development assistance going forward.
