Lately I’ve been finding a lot of value in long-form conversations: webinars, podcasts, panels. But there’s a catch: voice is terrible as a data medium. Just ask your old 56k modem. And I can’t code while listening to people talk; I have to stop what I’m doing just to follow along. So I built us a little helper. Download → extract audio → transcribe → feed to an AI summarizer (with business goals as context). It’s become my personal “insight distiller.” What used to take an hour of half-listening for the good bits now takes five minutes of reading. I get more than just a transcript I can skim; I get summaries and practical analysis in context too. And, it's a document I can easily share with my co-founder and our partners. Connecting dots. Surfacing patterns. Pulling relevance for how it ties back to what we’re building at #hidnAI. Funny thing: this is exactly the kind of lightweight, practical AI transformation that small teams can actually feel. No enterprise overhaul required, just solving your own friction points with modern tools. Curious: how do you all handle extracting insight from voice-based content? Do you just listen and move on, or do you have your own little workflow hacks for capturing ideas? #FutureOfWork

Point tools can be great… for one machine. But leadership needs the all-up view: purchasing, demand forecasting, ops. If each lives in a separate app, you might be guessing on the big picture. Unless you can unify the data estate, ask real questions in plain English, and act with confidence. This clip from Ep. 5 of the Zeroed-In Podcast with Alec Coughlin and Marvin Tansley explains why Band-Aid tools tend to stall out, but data and knowledge can help you to win with AI in the long run. #EnterpriseAI #Manufacturing #AI

I’ve been working as a PM on Copilot Notebooks for a while now and I’ve noticed something unusual about building AI products. Most of us start with a customer problem or market gap. But with AI, that order sometimes flips. 💭 Take Notebook LM for example. In a podcast, PM Raiza Martin shared that inside Google Labs, they didn’t begin with a user problem, they began with the technology. Using Gemini 1.5 Pro, and a powerful audio model, they started asking: what’s now possible that wasn’t before? They built prototypes that let people interact with their own docs, turned text into podcasts, and explored what “multimodal knowledge” could feel like. Only after experimenting with early users did the real value become clear. 💡 And honestly, that makes sense right? Because most customers don’t yet know what this tech is and what can it do for them. So as PMs, we sometimes have to lead the discovery: understand the tech deeply enough to imagine what users can’t articulate. ✨ In AI, the loop often goes: Capability → Exploration → Resonance → Problem → Scale. Maybe that’s the new PM playbook, start with potential, and shape it into meaning. When you’re building AI products, do you start with users, or with capabilities? #ProductManagement #ArtificialIntelligence #Copilot #NotebookLM #AIPM

As the use of AI and Generative AI continues to grow, I have had several requests to explore and extend earlier research on the impact of GAI on PMOs. If you’re currently working in or with a Project or Program Management Office (PMO) — I’d love to hear from you! PMOs everywhere are evolving rapidly. With new technologies, data-driven performance insights, and the rise of AI-supported project delivery, the way PMOs add value is being redefined. From governance and portfolio alignment to benefits realisation and hybrid working models — we’re at a genuine turning point. I’m connecting with PMO leaders, analysts, and practitioners who are navigating this shift. The goal is to share practical insights on how PMOs are: - Adapting to digital transformation and automation - Integrating AI and data analytics into portfolio decision-making - Balancing governance controls with agile delivery practices - Building capability and upskilling teams for the future If you’re part of a PMO — no matter the size or sector — I’d love for you to get involved. Comment below or DM me your details, and let’s collaborate on building a clearer picture of the next-generation PMO. I have also included below a link to a podcast created by AI on a paper I published as part of my PhD on Project Portfolio Management. https://lnkd.in/gaTEY4hF #PMO #PortfolioManagement #GenerativeAIforProjects #Research
New AI Tools continue to grow and this morning I tested and uploaded one of my PhD papers on Investigating the Association of Benefits and Barriers in Project Portfolio Management to Project Success to Google NotebookLM to produce this podcast. https://lnkd.in/gShz52NV For a copy of the full paper on Project Portfolio Management link to Google Scholar can be found here: https://lnkd.in/gvxu8ysf #ProjectPortfolioManagement #ProjectSuccess #PMO
