Nobody: LinkedIn 'influencers': "Yesterday I was walking to an interview. There was a starving dog on the road. I stopped to feed him & missed the interview. The next day I got a call asking to come in to do the interview. I was surprised, but I went. Then the interviewer came in. He was the dog." Can we knock it off with the made up management parables? This isn't Reddit, you dont get points for fake stories.

I hear there is a dog interviewing people and the media is missing it?

My favorite one to hate is the 20 versions I see on LinkedIn that says CFO says to CEO’ “what if we invest in our employees and they leave?” CEO responds “What if we don’t invest in our employees and they stay?”

10,000% agreed, Andy. The made-up stories and parables are condescending. I feel like my intelligence is being insulted every time I read one. At your service, Michael

Lol, this is so accurate. 😂 You need to follow this Twitter account (ironically) for some of the best (worst) of these kinds of posts: https://twitter.com/StateOfLinkedIn
