We were proud to host the recent Management Consultancies Association lunchtime briefing with Emma Pinchbeck FEI, CEO of the Climate Change Committee (CCC). With an introduction from Laura Frost – our Climate Team Leader with extensive experience supporting the CCC – Emma shared insights on the seventh carbon budget, the risks posed by climate change, and the urgent need for greater resilience through adaptation, including the UK’s energy transition. Collaboration will ultimately be key, with every sector having a role to play in enabling the UK’s low-carbon future. At present, however, there are gaps that need to be addressed to accelerate this transformation.
