GENIE 3, DeepMind’s latest model, pushes world models into a whole new space. From an image and simple inputs, like keyboard or controller signals. It generates interactive 2D environments in real time. No pre-rendered clips, no stitching. You control a character and the world reacts instantly. For AI FILMS creators, this could change the game. Imagine testing out camera moves, scene pacing, or even visual styles by literally walking through a world generated from your prompt. No need for traditional 3D pipelines. Just write, play, and record. It’s still research, but the message is clear: generative cinema won’t just be watched. It’ll be playable. When out we'll look to add it on the Studio.

Experimenting with Kling AI Start & End Frames: Digital Dawn I used Kling's new Start & End Frames in version 2.1 to create five scenes from a quick storyboard about a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world. Images were generated in Midjourney and I used this type of prompt structure with each pair of keyframes: “Sunset over endless ocean and glitching wireframe mountains, glowing red sun at the horizon, fragmented streams of code drifting through the sky, surreal and ominous. Transition: the sky fractures into digital shards and collapses inward as the sun warps into a void. Massive black hole forming in space, glowing rim of light bending reality, fragments of debris and corrupted code being pulled into the void, swirling chaos at the event horizon.
