40 000 ha of degraded land to restore on the Island of #Samar, in #Philippines... This is the purpose of the MoU aDryada has just signed with the dynamic Governor of the province, Honorable @Sharee Ann Tan. It is in line with the National Greening Program that was launched in 2011 with the initial aim of reforesting 1.5 million hectares. As the project will be based on the three inseparable pillars of Climate, #Biodiversity and Improving the living conditions of local populations, it is to generate high-quality voluntary #carboncredits. Its content will be transparent for all stakeholders, as it will be part of a #PublicPrivatePartnership (PPP) - a format that aDryada systematically favors. We sincerely thank Honorable Sharee Ann Tan for her strong support. We are ready for the next steps.

10moAlways refreshing to see projects bringing together #reforestation AND #biodiversity AND #localpopulation. (like Treecolor Alliance to put in a little plug for them too) Too often it's only about #carboncredits and #greenwashing only! Bravo!
