What started with Abhimanyu Tanwar’s initiative to connect quickly turned into a gathering of curious minds, passionate conversations, and enriching discussions at the #Starbucks in #PavilionMall. With product as the central theme, the conversations spanned diverse and thought-provoking topics: 🤖 AI’s role in product management: How AI is reshaping development, product research, and persona building. While it may take time to replace user personas completely, the possibilities of AI predicting human behavior and supporting simulations could significantly reduce research and experimentation time. ✈️ Travel industry innovation: A fascinating product idea shared by Rohit that had everyone intrigued. 📊 The importance of business value: Sushmita Uplap journey was a revelation as she shared the critical lesson of asking for business value before starting work. It struck a chord with many PMs who’ve learned the hard way that smart work driven by outcomes is far more impactful than mere hard work. 🦋 Driving transformation: Yogesh M.'s inspiring story of leading initiatives in a large organization to elevate product management and its mindset in an engineering-dominated industry. Yesterday's ProductTank Pune Impromtonu meeting with Lattes, and Lightbulb Moments! ☕💡 Who knew a casual coffee meetup at Starbucks in could turn into a buzzing hub of inspiration, and a whole lot of ideas? What started as a simple “let’s connect” quickly transformed into a passionate group of curious minds fueled by caffeine. From serious debates on 🤖 AI’s superpowers in product management (can it predict our snack cravings too and timings of it?) to cracking the code on Adtech marketplaces (so that supply and demand sides stop ghosting each other), we dove into topics that got our brains whirring.The conversations? Equal parts insightful and inspiration. Imagine two hours of brainy conversation sprinkled with coffee, random tangents, and “aha!” moments. gr is excited by the speed offered by RaptorDB. Which Xanadu features are you most excited about? The recently held Pune #CreatorCon event had both Developer World and Glide World buzzing. gr is on a shopping spree to handle the possibilities offered by RaptorDB. Experience of my first CreatorCon event was amazing. A great session by Kristy for GenAI, which was equally accompanied by great Gurus. I particularly loved my little chitchat with Husain. Sujan and Prasad followed that up in their own style showing practical use of AI. Pranav carried it on brilliantly for keynote, tinkered with inputs from Kristy and Jason. Mark's interactive session with community leaders Amit, Shreya and Sujan resulted in some great insights being shared. Away from main event, Satish and Andrew wowed with new improvements in Studio and SDK, their enthusiasm was contagious. However as with any community event, my main takeaway remains the human connection. Meeting some great new folks in Hanumant, Nayan, Raksha, Krushna and Prashant. Meeting some online connections for the first time in Nishant, Pratiek, Youganshu and Aishwarya. And mainly reconnecting with the ever expanding Pune gang in Tanay, Gaurav, Akshay, Anil, priyanka, Shailesh, Jyoti, Tejaswini, Irston, Gunjan, Rahul and Anubhav. As we discussed with Mark Obee, we hope to connect more regularly for similar events in future. Also as the event showed, we should definitely have larger capacity for upcoming Pune Meetup Events.
