⚠️🚗 #RoadSafety is one of the most complex challenges. It is a global priority due to its significant human and public health impact, as well as its effect on #mobility and #sustainable #development. According to the World Health Organization, each year road crashes cause 1.35 million deaths and up to 50 million injuries, affecting mostly young people between 5 and 29 years old. Despite progress in some areas, the picture remains bleak, especially in low- and middle-income countries, where road infrastructure, safety policies and enforcement of traffic rules are often poor.
