Welcome
- [Voiceover] Hi, my name is Maria Langer and I'd like to welcome you to Creating Long Documents with Microsoft Word. In this course, I'll explain how to make the most of Word's feature set to create reports, white papers and even books. Outlining tools and the Master Document feature make it easy to organize and manage document content. You can easily add cross references, footnotes, end-notes, captions and citations, all of which update as necessary when you make changes to the document. Word can even automatically generate a table of contents, bibliography, an index based on styles and coded entries, and when it's time to finalize the document for sharing with others, you can include page numbers, custom headers and footers and even a cover page. By the end of this course, you'll know everything you need to create a long document with Microsoft Word whether its a term paper for school, a white paper for upper management or the next great American novel. Are you ready to get started? Let's go.
