After the DC midair collision I had a thought-provoking conversation with Dawn Zoldi about airspace safety. ADS-B is a great technology that can add a couple of additional layers of safety to assist busy pilots with avoiding other aircraft. We talked about equipment availability as well as ACAS X, a great new technology to help provide situational awareness of other traffic. Space launch is currently undersupplied. Future launch markets will require a more diverse supplier base, less regulation, and increased range throughput. The space industry is headed for a crisis if these issues are not addressed. https://lnkd.in/grgAvXSJ

With the recent announcement about the pending release of FAA Part 108 after an extensive National Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) process, our team is confident in the boost this will create for UAS and drones flying Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) in the United States. The process was complex but the public process, along with heavy engagement from the drone and aviation industries, as well as the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), has led to several anticipated new requirements that will help to ensure enhanced safety for both users and bystanders, such as detect-and-avoid systems, drone performance standards, new training and certification requirements, and airspace utilization rules. These developments are welcome for the whole drone industry, providing a new paradigm where U.S. airspace will now become more open and regulated for approved UAS usage across many purposes, helping to drive growth across our industry. It is my belief that any company looking to get better awareness of their situation using an aerial product should be interested in our solutions. AgEagle's solutions like the eBee TAC and eBee X are already approved in the U.S. for Operations Over Prople (OOP) and Over Moving Vehicles (OOMV), as well as the eBee TAC having Green UAS certification, and we look forward to continuing to provide regulatory-approved and effective solutions for our clients.
