Able to demonstrate creative and critical writing through regular reviews of new releases, live entertainment events and news articles and the ability to adapt my writing approach to fit with different readers and specific types of audiences. Ensure strong communication skills through all mediums to interview artists all over the globe. Evidence of dedication and time management to hit strict deadlines. Built an excellent profile that has enabled work with high profile artists and high-rate professional clients. Building an editorial skill set mainly through copywriting, editing and formatting articles and a track record of exclusive and original stories within this industry.
Responsible for managing the artists daily schedule at the festival, setting up and coordinating signing sessions, organising press interviews and arranging catering and travel requirements.
Overcome challenging situations with logic problem solving. Built strong relationships with sponsors, to which now they support Firefest every year. Learnt how to direct and produce a large festival, right from the very start of production to the end of the event.
A dynamic role reporting to the Director of the Trading Company and supporting Event Sales Co-ordinator and the Marketing Officer. Accountable for hosting corporate events, liaising with clients for event requirements and set ups, co-ordinating weddings, implanting new strategies to gain business through sales, reviewing ways to improve the event process, event administration and handling online accounts along with social media.
A major achievement in this role was successfully managing a stall at The Venue Expo, through exposing the Bluecoat as a venue and gaining new business whilst building strong relationships - worked alongside UKFE and Event City in Manchester. Another major achievement was Live Music event pilot running through out summer; it developed and brought new audiences to the Bluecoat, made profit in food and drinks sales and prospect to carry on the pilot as an in house event.
Also supported the Charity arts sector by volunteer extra time to work on the arts events - Largest scale worked on was 600 attendees for the music event ‘Above the Beaten Track’ - this included set up, artist liaison and sponsorship.
A company set up to build music events and festival experience using the production skills learnt from University. The business plan won best business plan award and secured business funding from Salford Hundred Venture. The project traded for two years running and within its first year Hellish Flare had set up two, 26 date gig tours around the UK; this included all the major cities and chief venue clientele like the Academy venues.
Hellish Flare achieved a large database of musical acts and took on management and booking agency yearly contracts for two professional acts. The company built a large profile through PR and marketing with its own international weekly radio show, a strong online following and regular exposure in music journalism.
Building strong relationships with PR agencies, artist mangers and record label PR representatives. A track record of exclusive and original stories within the music industry.
Arranging live interviews with music acts, along with writing event/album reviews and reporting news features.
Planning, broadcasting and presenting a weekly radio show, hosting the latest news in music and showcasing new and underground bands.
A broad range portfolio displaying strong journalistic background.

Took control of online blogging – “through the eyes of an intern”. Responsibilities were sub-editing articles, copywriting, transcribing interviews.
I write and host a weekly 3 hour show 'Rock Underworld' on Planetmosh FM covering your favorites and under ground discoveries. Regular interviews with touring bands and live experience from UK festivals. Once a month will be Hostile Takeover where a band member will host and showcase his influences, favorites bands and latest news. Last Hostile Takeover was Ben Carter from Evile.

Making sure all artists were at arranged meeting points prior to onstage times, and offstage times, arranging pick-ups and drop-offs at local hotels for artists, liaising with press for arranged interviews, and sorting out riders and catering for artists.
First Aider.

My final project I worked alongside Rock Radio now Real XS for a full live gig exploring the Glam Rock genre, extremely successful sold out show.
