Big milestone for Doppler Finance: Doppler just raised a $3M seed round led by Reforge, with participation from DCG, Maven 11, HashKey Capital, GSR, CMCC Global and others. Their goal? Unlock institutional-grade yield infrastructure on the XRP Ledger, something that’s been missing since day one. Here’s the opportunity: -> XRP’s ~$200B market cap has less than 0.1% in DeFi. -> Ethereum, by comparison, has ~20% of its market cap active on-chain. That’s hundreds of billions in idle XRP and Doppler is building the rails to activate it. With custody integrations (Fireblocks, Copper, Bitgo), verifiable proof-of-reserves, and plug-and-play APIs for wallets/custodians, they’re building for regulated capital but with open access. Their $500M+ capital pipeline speaks volumes. This is a major unlock for #XRPFi and one of the most promising attempts to bridge compliant yield infra with an underserved but globally significant asset. Excited to see how this one plays out.

Thank you CNBC for the opportunity to share perspectives on the recent UK tech week and innovation more broadly. The appetite for venture and innovation tos and fros with the S&P. Of course, this overlooks the uncertain lead times and highly non-linear nature of outcomes. Its more helpful to think of innovation and venture as society's R&D. That was certainly Eisenhower's mindset in the 50s - the origins of Silicon Valley today. And there's certainly no disputing the 8x value creation of the West Coast vs Europe in the last decade. The intrinsic advances in science and technology that underpin venture and innovation are vertical. This is what matters for nations deciding whether or not to make innovation the keystone of creating dynamic, productive economies. And decide they must. Goldman Sachs' CEO David Solomon, in an article for Les Echos last week, offered that 'special attention must be paid to Europe’s venture and growth capital ecosystem....America’s enormous advantage in the availability of early-stage risk capital is among its most important distinguishing features' Texas' recently announced 11GW data center compared to the entire EU operational data center capacity today of 9GW offers further context #innovation #ai #robotics #venturecapital #entrepreneurship https://lnkd.in/e2UyZYDx

Varda designs and operates spacecraft that can manufacture pharmaceuticals and advanced crystals in microgravity before returning them to Earth safely.  Will Bruey, Delian Asparouhov, Daniel Marshall    MaintainX raised $150 million in Series D funding at a $2.5 billion valuation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, The D. E. Shaw Group Ventures, and others.
