On top organizing fun events, we host speaker sessions featuring music industry professionals as well as networking events. As President, I have sucessfully grown our social media/campus following and organized several positively recieved events.

    "Art After Dark" is a student-directed, live performance showcase that features dancing, singing, acting and spoken word. The idea was created seven years ago by the Spriggs Burroughs Drama/ Dance Ensemble and is currently the most anticipated show of the academic year for students at Spelman, Morehouse and Clark. I currently serve as Music Supervisor for the entire show, a position I was chosen for because of my well-known music expertise.

Students who are accepted into the program must have a strong academic record and demonstrated commitment to their own intellectual development. Any student that has achieved a high school GPA of at least a 3.7 will receive an invitation. Those who are invited…

    The Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program is an exclusive on-campus community whose primary purpose is to provide a stimulating environment in which young scholars can confidently pursue their individual and shared intellectual interests. Students who are accepted into the program must have a strong academic record and demonstrated commitment to their own intellectual development. Any student that has achieved a high school GPA of at least a 3.7 will receive an invitation. Those who are invited will be required to submit an additional essay, provided in the invitation. Honors program students receive many perks including but not limited to priority housing registration, financial support for conferences and workshops, smaller classes, and an honors Lounge with computers for honors students only.
