My many interests and passions have always included travel, cultures, the arts and entertaining, but I wondered where the wide range could possibly lead. The lightbulb moment came when an acquaintance, upon hearing the complicated story of my professional evolution, said that it was "simple! You are a storyteller." And that was the connection to it all; at times quite literally as a journalist, blogger, or copywriter, but also when hosting a dinner, planning and producing a nonprofit gala or corporate event, communicating to and with a group of friends, colleagues, or a wide demographic, promoting my passions, or touring a group of high-level executives around a city, it seems I am always telling a story.
Having lived in 8 states and 5 major cities in my adult years, I have learned what makes different people and places unique. After moving to Dallas in 2011 I enjoyed contributing to and communicating the city's wonderful attributes. This included a long list of solo and collaborative work on a wide variety of projects, and the assumption of several volunteer leadership roles within the community. I am now enjoying getting similarly involved in my new home of Laguna Beach, California.

As Events Director for 4 Manhattan restaurants (in Midtown, Theatre District, United Nations, and Meatpacking District), I planned and managed special events, including menu design, theme, décor, layout, staffing and timelines, for a wide range of corporate, entertainment and private party clients. I have had the pleasure of working with and depending on Jayne for more then 5 years in her role as Executive Liason for the Board of Trustees of our trade assocation. A better description might be Executive "herder of the cats" Jayne has mission impossible of coordinating and planning complex meetings plus insuring that all Trustees ( a group of 100 + CEO's and senior executives within a demanding industry) were kept informed on industry matters relating to our 55,000 person assocation between the meetings.
Jayne always was able to pull off her duties with extreme level of proffesionalism and positive spirit. The entire group has come to depend on Jayne's control of the events and always present smile.
If you wish to discuss Jayne's skill sets and accomplishments in more detail please feel free to contact me.
