Projects

An Act Of Twisting(Link)

Interrogation. It’s in your soul. All you need to do is... jazz it up a little.

In a mysterious institution, a secret project takes place. Four women are set a bizarre challenge: to improve the national standards of torture. What ingredients can the female psyche add to ‘enhanced interrogation’? Pain or pleasure? Compassion or cruelty? As time passes, will the women reject their orders to inflict suffering – or will they start to enjoy their work just a little too much?

Here you are Mr Prisoner, we’ll put you in a nice comfy stress position, with a gorgeous velvet bag over your head – it’s Prada, you can feel the quality – and if you ever feel like talking, we’ll reward you with a chilled glass of Evian and a little lightly-seared foie gras.

Written by Rondo Artistic Director Ian McGlynn and directed by Rondo Associate Director Hannah Drake, An Act of Twisting premieres at The Rondo prior to a tour of the South West.

...full of razor-sharp wit... Unmissable. ***** Venue

13 By Mike Bartlett(Link)

Directed by Hannah Drake.
For this production I played the parts of Stephen.

From the Nick Hern book:
13 introduces us to a disconcerting mix of characters: solicitors, political ambassadors, prime ministers, and rebellious protesters. What connects all of the people together though is just one man; the charismatic and compelling youth John, who sermonizes on the simpler life, rejecting the materialism, money and achievement that seem for so many to be the pinnacle of modern society. As the politicians edge towards war, the fractions supporting the missionary John and those against clash in a drama that echo’s in today’s world.
