I was on a call earlier today where our financial services industry experts were explaining some of the top themes and trends they've heard from FSI customers around the world. On the list: sustainability. While I know that sustainability is important, it often seems like large companies aren't able to make it transparent and relevant to consumers. So it's interesting to see that the sustainability fintech Doconomy recently raised 34 million euros for their technology that allows consumers to see the carbon footprint of their banking. This allows consumers to actually measure something, which is the first step of actually making change happen. "Among the firm’s tools is the AIand Index, a cloud-based service for banks that helps their customers convert every transaction into its corresponding CO2 footprint. The index is used by more than 100 financial institutions in more than 40 countries." #sustainability #fintech
