    The WEF in Davos is a signature event for the Big 4 professional service firms, and in my first year on the job I quickly learned just what that meant for KPMG. We have run hugely successful campaigns back to back, winning two awards and a great deal of media attention. Enhancing brand awareness and perception is imperative, especially with several large competitors who offer similar services. While other organizations created areas for WEF discussion, they used their channels to push their own key messages; our company focused on fulfilling users' needs, making WEFLIVE tremendously successful in engaging users and generating brand awareness.

The campaign was focused on the weflive.com service, an innovative Twitter aggregation service which distilled in real-time the Twitter conversations from Davos delegates, the media and Twitter users from across the world.

    According to the IAB Awards judges, the WEFlive service showed great initiative, filtering through huge volumes of information to present only the most important insights along with powerful search and data visualization features, while also taking advantage of different social media platforms, including Twitter and Pinterest.
