Skills

Projects

  • Ingenico.css

    Starting

An elegant front-end boilerplate that'll make it easier to cope with the default Ingenico payment view, which is rather grotesque.

    Team members:
  • JSend

    Starting

JSend is a layer on top of jQuery's $.ajax method that handles JSON data exchange according to the non-official JSend spec. Whilst the spec provides rules for a consistent JSON response, our script gives developers the functionality to handle the actual communication based on this format.

    Team members:
  • PAPI

A lightweight jQuery plugin that makes working with the Postcode API (developed by Freshheads) easy as pie.

    Team members:
  • Perimeter.js

Creates an invisible perimeter around a target element and monitors mouse breaches.

    Team members:
  • Zepto-Builder

    Starting

Zepto Builder is the web based equivalent of the regular Zepto build process and will let you generate a custom version that just includes the modules you need.

A TinyMCE plugin that provides an HTML editor including all Emmet features

    , Object Oriented PHP
  • Hogeschool Rotterdam

    Bachelor of ICT, Grafimediatechnologie

I skipped my first year and as well the internship period due to my previous study as Application Developer at the Baronie College. The following 2 years I worked as junior web developer at e-sites during a so called working/learning process.

In my last year I have written a thesis about web standards called “webdevelopment in balance” which reflects my personal way of thinking about standards like HTML/CSS, the importance of semantics in this matter and how to use these technologies in a proper way.

Activities and Societies: Web development, Project management, Marketing & Sales, Concept & Design, (2D/3D) DTP, Usability, Accessibility, Audio/Video editing

  • ROC Baronie College

    System Engineer, (Web) Application Developer

Started as System Engineer in the first two years, which were mainly based on basic IT activities. In the third year I decided to choose Application Developer as specialism and focus myself on web based programming languages. After a half-year internship at a small Internet company where I could practice all my skills I graduated flawlessly and was ready for a new challenge.

Achieved certificates: CCNA 1 + 2, DAM (Hardware/Software/Networking), European Computer Driving License (ECDL)

Activities and Societies: System engineering, IT management, project management, networking (Cisco), application development (Java / PHP), UML.

Recommendations

A preview of what LinkedIn members have to say about Boye:

  • Boye has the perfect skills for a developer. He is very precise, very punctual and most importantly, someone in his profession who is always looking for new and better development methods. For someone who is working in web development, that's one of the hardest challenges. He is an honest person and someone who fits really well in a young organization like E-sites. Boye works with great pleasure and professionalism!
