collating, managing and analyzing global energy systems at multiple scales. Participation
by the public and experts through volunteered information is a key component of all
aspects of this project and for the organic growth and scrutiny of the scientific databases.
The geospatially and time referenced data in GEO will be viewable using open GIS tools
such Google Earth for mashups and integrated analyses
