Quick commerce, once associated mainly with groceries, has rapidly expanded into categories like personal care, wellness, fashion, and electronics. According to RedSeer, the global quick commerce market is expected to reach $72 billion in 2025, with India alone projected to hit $5.5 billion in the same timeframe. On the other side, D2C brands in India are witnessing unprecedented growth. From $12 billion in 2022, the market is estimated to reach $60 billion by 2027. This momentum is powered by a new-age consumer who wants more than just a product—they want speed, relevance, and direct engagement with brands. But it’s not just about being fast. Quick commerce and D2C success depend heavily on backend efficiency. Inventory planning, logistics, customer support, and tech-driven personalization are becoming non-negotiables. A brand can no longer rely solely on product quality; the delivery experience, retention strategy, and transparency across the funnel now define long-term value. As agencies and marketers, it’s crucial to recognize this shift, not just in buying behavior, but in how brands must operate. Are we building strategies that are equipped for this pace?
