Alex Rascanu is a digital marketing strategist, the director of online new business development at Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and the organizer of the Marketers Unbound meetup.

The Director, Online New Business Development supports the vision and mission of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, whose purpose is to raise funds for Canada’s largest and most comprehensive cancer research centre, The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre - one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world.
In my role as Director, Online New Business Development, I work as part of an incredible team of people who raised over $600 Million for research in the last ten years, and help the organization reach another important milestone as part of the BILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE — a five-year initiative launched in April 2012 to secure $1 Billion to revolutionize cancer care by creating a new gold standard: Personalized Cancer Medicine.
We have all been touched by cancer in some way, and the lives of family and friends who have overcome (M), lost (R) or are currently fighting (C) to conquer cancer are on my mind.

Marketers Without Borders (MWB) aims to connect marketers with powerful causes that have a demonstrable socio-economic impact in disadvantaged communities around the world.
We're now only focused on the Marketers Unbound event series: www.meetup.com/marketersunbound
