Three Artists from I.C.Movement: Breakdancer/Bboy Jordan Calvert and Movement Artists Roman Tio & Antoine Marc shared the space at 'Shapes', SKillTown's former residency and explored their individual movement styles.

The primary goal was to create a visual reference of our movement for motion capture companies, but also to see how artists who move differently were able to create connection, cohesion and harmony through their work, just as primary colours are the beginnings for so much more...

I.C.Movement is a first of it's kind Collective of Movement Artists each with their own background. (Martial Arts such as Wushu, Capoeira & Taekwondo, emerging trends such as Tricking, Parkour, Breakdance & Streedance, and Classic Arts such as Ballet, Gymnastics, Contemporary Dance & Handbalance. When brought together we create exciting and innovative new content.

Inspired by the internet age, the self-taught generation, video games, anime, graphic novels, supernatural powers & at times augmented reality
Our work is a reflection of our era.

Our unique strategy lies in taking a design-thinking approach to choreography and the creation of movement and action.

I.C. Stands for Imaginal Cells, a term used by Biologists to describe the mysterious cells that appear in the cocoon of the caterpillar and maps out the wings and nervous system of the soon to emerge butterfly. Thus the name becomes a metaphor for what each member so avidly believes - that within us lies the potential for growth, transformation & even flight!

The individual members can be found on many feature films sets, commercials, shows, & performances worldwide, & also teaching at our newly opened Project 'SkillTown'.

Skilltown. A modern concept solving the problem of providing a physical residency to a huge online global community of movement artists, with a preference to emerging trends and artistic disciplines.

We created a hub for london's finest collection of free-runners, breakdancers, tumblers, trickers, stunt performers, martial artists (capoeira, wushu, taekwondo) and created a recreational evening and weekend format of classes for both beginners and industry professionals.
