“I had the privilege of working with Abigail at PyLadies Ghana. When I joined as a volunteer, Abigail, then the PyLadies Ghana lead, was incredibly welcoming and gave me significant responsibilities within the communications team. Her support and trust were instrumental in my growth. Thanks to her guidance, I became the communications lead after several months of contributing to the team. Abigail’s mentorship significantly influenced my development in tech and leadership. She provided me with opportunities to speak at tech events like Women in Tech, boosting my confidence and exposure. Abigail’s support was pivotal as I transitioned from a software engineering role to a product manager role and eventually to the global open-source stage. When she moved on to pursue other interests in STEM, she entrusted me with the lead role of PyLadies Ghana, which was a testament to her belief in my capabilities. Abigail’s leadership and mentorship have been valuable. Her dedication and support have significantly shaped my career path. I highly recommend Abigail for any open-source leadership or mentoring role. She is a tremendous asset to any team or community.”

Also, with the wide capabilities of mobile technology, data and report can easily be exchanged. With the help of GSM-Module and an Arduino microcontroller, this study presents a prepaid energy meter monitoring system that enables real time remote utility-consumer monitoring of domestic energy usage. This system also curbs the present challenges with meter tampering and guides the consumer to be energy conscious. This system is recommended for policy considerations by utility companies since the deployment of this system can potentially improve operational efficiencies.
