There are formatting options available for text on your profile or for posts on your LinkedIn homepage. You can:

Add bullet points to your profile.

Add links to updates, discussions, or comments on your LinkedIn homepage
To insert bullet points on your profile:

Click the
Me at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click View profile.

Click the
Edit icon into the section you'd like to add bullets to. -
Hold down the Alt key and type 0149 on the numeric keypad (for Windows). Release the Alt key. The bullet will appear immediately.
- Press Alt+8 on an Apple keyboard.

Enter your text next to the bullet.

Click Save.
Notes:

For Windows Users: The Alt+0149 combination only works on keyboards that have the number keypad or the Num lock. If you don't have this type of keyboard, we suggest researching alternate methods for inserting bullet points, such as cutting and pasting or using a third-party solution.

Each subsequent line of text after the first line will wrap under the bullet point.
To add links to updates, discussions, or comments:

Type or paste the URL into the text box. Be sure to include the "http://" portion.

Click Post.
There's currently no way to:

Add bullets in discussions or updates.

Italicize, underline, or bold text in any area.
