Turning Evidence into Action: One Year On 🚀 A year ago, Wellcome Trust and UK Research and Innovation announced landmark investments to build the Evidence Synthesis Infrastructure Collaborative (ESIC) - shaping the future of AI-powered, living evidence synthesis for the hashtag #SDGs. Since then, momentum has only grown: ✅ A roadmap and the Cape Town Consensus Charter to give us direction ✅ Foundational investments being prepared for announcement ✅ Expanding global collaborations across UN agencies, MDBs, funders, and research networks ✅ Emerging AI-driven tools supporting radically more timely, relevant, and affordable synthesis We can’t reveal all the details (yet) - but the shift from ambition to action is unmistakable.
