A District Shelter Management Committee Training was held recently at the Nuwara Eliya District Secretariat, while another is currently underway at the Mullaitivu District Secretariat as part of the ‘Enabling Access to Justice for Victim-Survivors of SGBV in Sri Lanka’ project, a joint initiative with UNDP #lka and UNFPA Sri Lanka with funding from the Government of Canada. The trainings aim to enhance the capacity of members of the District and Divisional #Shelter Committees in Nuwara Eliya and Mullaitivu, enabling them to provide safe, coordinated, and survivor-centred #support, in line with the National Guidelines for the Management of Shelters for Victim-Survivors of #SGBV.
