I couldn’t be more excited to share our latest AI research breakthrough in video generation at Meta. We call it Movie Gen and it’s a collection of state-of-the-art models that combine to deliver the most advanced video generation capability ever created. Movie Gen brings some incredible new innovation to this field including: • Up to 16 seconds of continuous video generation – the longest we’ve seen demonstrated to date. • Precise editing – unlike others that are just style transfer. • State-of-the-art video conditioned audio which is better than all the text to audio models • Video personalization in a way never done before – not image personalization with animation. We’ve published a blog and a very detailed research paper along with a wide selection of video examples that you can check out: https://lnkd.in/gTfwRsHm
Amazing work and sincerest thanks for the 92 page research paper. I take it the models are not available for general use yet? Any guidance on when/ how we can expect to be able to start working with is greatly appreciated 😁
Ahmad Al-Dahle One note, since this is being used to celebrate and probably be distributed extensively over social media: Halfway through the video, it makes a mistake with the prompt "man wipes sweat from brow with white handkerchief" as the man is instead in white clothes but uses his hand and no handkerchief. Just a note for potential area to look into for correction/retraining, but awesome progress and video!!
Incredible.....
Interesting
Impressive
Look forward to this and Meta AI being rolled out in the UK 👌
Congratulations, Ahmad Al-Dahle. This is mind-blowing AI magic! Can't wait to get my hands on it. https://lnkd.in/g9zKFWhZ
This looks great! Kudos to the team. However, it’s concerning to think about misinformation spreading via deep fakes / AI generated content, as this technology continues to evolve. I hope the needed guardrails are established to vet content generated via AI apart from real/objectively factual user generated content.
