WHO OWNS TRAINING? 👨🎓💻 //
As the battlefield becomes more digitalised, the role of training soldiers in the best way to maximise this technology becomes more important. Identifying who should deliver this training, and how, is of major importance. Check out our blog below on some of the factors to consider when choosing a training provider:

How many things have started out right but then gone horribly wrong?
Hopefully not weapons training like in the video! Begins okay, but then…YIKES!
Have you ever thought about writing your story? Seems easy enough, right?
Over the years I’ve had SO many writers and former military folks with come to me wanting to tell their story, but something went horribly wrong halfway through, and they were left picking up the pieces.
If you don’t want your book story to end up as a cautionary tale, then I suggest NOT going it alone. Even (and especially) if you have the military discipline to follow through. Going it alone hurts, and like with the video, things may get out of control.
Writing is NOT a time to needlessly “embrace the suck.”
In September, I’m starting a group program aimed at helping veterans and military capture their legacy stories. I firmly believe every veteran has a story that’s worth documenting.
If you (or someone you know) has ever thought about capturing your story, now is a great time to get started.
You’ll be supported by your brothers-in-arms (and me) throughout the process. The decision to write will be separate from the decision to publish (or not).
No mandatory sharing with me or the group.
Zero embarrassment.
Just support for your goal. A whole lot easier and kinder than military training.
And a promise of no live rounds.
You can DM me with any questions or find more info here: https://lnkd.in/gB9RHBqa
(P.S. If you can’t afford it, please reach out. I’d LOVE to have you join us).
(P.P.S. If you’re not in that community but want help writing your book, I’m here for you, too).
Army Officer, Personal Trainer, Service Leaver.
Experienced leader, coach & communicator, with a background in elite sport & high performance.
I help people ‘train hybrid’ or prepare for elite military service.
In just 4 months, over 110 people have now used my free ‘Phase 1 Preparation Program’. Thats:
110+ people less likely to get injured in training.
110+ people more likely to reach the physical standards the army requires.
110+ people choosing to prepare for a rewarding career like a professional.
And ultimately, that’s….
110+ people more likely to pass out of training first time.
I’m so proud of this free program, and the benefit and impact it provides. The dream of helping 1000 people prepare for the army doesn’t seem so out of reach right now……

Something different... and its important to note this. Such is a critical step-up in training itself - and what was being exercised is not mentioned - and maybe that is the more interesting part of it all.

Spiral development sounds like a fantastic idea but the reality can be different When you have a low volume of assets and rigorous maintenance schedules to onboard emerging capabilities quickly, you can easily find yourself with lower volumes of available assets to generate operational capability than expected. This schedule should be built in to the capacity of a programme.
Training should be also be designed in not a bolt on. Training further saps operational capability by utilising FL command assets and personnel but this is rarely accounted for and is often a post script after the horse has bolted.
