Do you have a pre-existing condition like cancer or diabetes? If so, I-2124 on Washington's fall ballot will leave you with no long-term coverage options because private insurance won't cover you. Kimberly Allen joins me on my new mini-series, More On 2124, to share her experience with private insurance. Yup, I have a pre-existing condition, like more than half of us, not only would I be denied private long term care insurance, I couldn't afford a policy. So grateful to live in a state that's leading the way to ensure we can live with dignity and the help we need in our own homes. I'm voting No on I-2124 to protect our long term care benefit!

Super interesting story! Because I-2124 will kill Washington's long-term care benefits program, it will leave folks like Kim with no coverage options. Thanks Christina Keys!

It’s crazy to me that regular private health insurance does this too. If they don’t like a certain ore-existing condition, then they don’t want to cover you because your “condition” costs them money 🙄
