One of our users had a problem. They want sales reps to engage their Smartlead prospects on LinkedIn—through HubSpot. Here's how OutboundSync do this... PLUS a link to a Clay template! First, we need to know who's opening emails. We built a workflow using OutboundSync timeline events. We track the first opens, and then wait for 3 days. Then we send that list to a table in Clay. Now, we need multiple opens. We go back to Smartlead with an API call to get the open count. Once we have our prospects with multiple opens... We use Clay's Smartlead integration to find LinkedIn profiles. Whether pre-loaded from the Smartlead campaign or through enrichment, we merge the data seamlessly. Now, let's do a few things in HubSpot with HTTP API calls... 1 Create the LinkedIn task 2 Associate the task 3 Enrich HubSpot itself The final result: A streamlined system of action where sales reps get tasks with all necessary context—automatically. You need people to sign up to your list. 🟡 This means having an aligned lead generation process so the people on your list WANT to be there. Start thinking about ways people can join your list. Make sure you’re attracting the right people to sign up. If you get a PhD, people may not always call you "Doctor", but they will sometimes address you by your last name first in a cold LinkedIn marketing outreach because their CRM isn't smart enough to do anything other than split a name string and take the last-but-one token, making it easy to ignore the rest of the message that began "Hey Pryor".
