USPS July 9 2023 Rate changes ~ impact on shippers. While the 3 cent increase to FC Mail is of little impact to Shippers, there are many changes that will. Most of the rate tables are not changing, including FCPS, PM, PME, PS, PSL and and International. The big news is the merging of FCPS, Parcel Select Ground/Cubic and Retail Ground into the new Ground Advantage. While the under a pound, previously FCPS did not change, 1-20 Lbs. decreased in price! 1-5Lbs -5%, 6-11 Lbs. -3%, and 11-20Lbs -4%. GA Cubic decreased 3.7% on average. More info on this here: https://hubs.ly/Q01LZJKh0 Media Mail is going up 7% and Bound Printed Matter Parcels are going up 9% for Auto NDC/Basic, and +2% for SCF and DDU entry. One of the largest increases is to mailers of Flats. Retail is going up 18%, Auto Presorted Flats are going up 6% on average. Shipware #ecommerce #shipping #supplychain

A 3-cent increase may not seem significant, but remember, every penny counts in the world of eCommerce. That's why efficiency in operations is key.

In all my years I've never seen UPS and the USPS go at it, the way they are now, to capture share of the eCommerce mid-tier and small shippers.
