One of the FASTEST ways to boost your search traffic. 👇 The very first thing I did when I joined CustomerGauge last year? Bring all their content into one place, and review which content was steadily declining. This content: - Once ranked well - Had existing authority for those keywords It just hadn't been touched in a while. Some was outdated. Some wasn't really hitting search intent. Both let competitors take the top spot. I spent about 1 hour each on 5-10 articles. - Adding new sections - Tweaking titles - Trimming introductions - Adding FAQs Guess what? The whole site shifted from 400 clicks a day to 600 in about 1 month. An extra 4000 visitors per month. These are the quickest of wins. They capitalize on your existing work. Do this at least every year. ✌️ ——— Assess the opportunity for yourself. Download the template here: https://lnkd.in/eppeGqmn PS. Wow, this is some incredible insight! I love how you were able to take existing content and give it a fresh update to boost traffic. I will definitely be incorporating this strategy into my own content strategy. Thanks for sharing!👍
It's crazy that many brands miss this. Fix the decaying content, and build on top of what's increasing in keywords indexing and impressions growth. Great tips mate!
wasn't until I started working directly with clients that I realized how almost all of them were geared towards 'more content is better, just keep churning it out until we win all the SERPs!' makes me wonder which agencies or 'SEO specialists' they ran into that convinced them of that just to sell more content.
Dude the value you‘ve been putting out lately has been insane. I‘m not an SEO expert or even very familiar with it but I feel ready to manage an entire campaign now. Thanks Ben Goodey
1hr each 5-10 articles is power speed 💪 but definitely doable when you know where you have to look.
Pretty much my go to once a quarter. Check traffic change over the last 6 months. Go and make fixes. Tend the garden.
That's literally a game-changer, Ben Goodey! Will steal this for my teammates-linkbuilders, they will love it!
Bookmarked to check out this template with my morning coffee tomorrow!

1yIt’s honestly crazy to me that some companies just set and forget about their content, and choose to create more content instead. The most traffic wins in my experience almost always come from updating aging content, and it takes significantly less time than creating new content.
