Karen Sutton’s Post

DO YOU KNOW an eloquent senior business leader who is truly leading on social and environmental sustainability in their industry sector?   ARE THEY open to democratising sustainability and sharing of best practice and innovation to help everyone move towards a sustainable planet, faster?   DO THEY have a good story to tell that will motivate and encourage others?   We’re looking for a speaker for our 2022 Global Good Awards ceremony on 13th October (London), specifically from a leading or pioneering business who’s really driving change in their sector and not just delivering lip-service.   Must be UK based, or can travel to London sustainably but wouldn’t exclude virtual attendance for the right person.   Please share, recommend and comment below, or contact me directly. If it can be a CIC that's now a charity and delivering a groundbreaking project to create community sustainability support Hubs for the country and share the Blueprint (based on pioneering behavioural science research with Imperial College London) with all council's, charities, community groups and shopping centres/town centres in the country - all while also working with Imperial to research and publish a peer reviewed Research Report called "Inclusivity and Accessibility in Sustainability" to help the strategy and coms teams of all relevant I) UK charity and other Third Sector organisations, and ii) UK public sector (local and national) to better tailor their coms to ensure that the language, activities and outreach they invest in is as inclusive, effective and impactful as possible, then I'd suggest Greener & Cleaner and our SLT. It's a 3 year project of the charity, with Stage 1 funded by BEIS. A multi pronged approach from a passionate professional team, driven by the 7 year deadline to halve emissions, but are aware that community strengthening and improving biodiversity are also key to the equation. If helpful Richard Carmichael (CPsychol, FRSA) Trewin Restorick Swapna U. Connor Camilla Siggaard Andersen are supporters.
