Based in Shanghai China, Jin Kim is a Consumer Product Perfumer whose specialisms span across fabric and personal care. Equipped with a longstanding admiration for Marie Curie, Jin combines her passion for chemistry with a love of fragrances – the industry in which Jin now resides and where she can exercise creative expression every day. Indeed, it was during Jin’s post-doctoral research in Germany that she recognised the importance of creativity in her future profession, a realisation which prompted her perfumery training and after which she has never looked back. Jin has always possessed an aptitude for identifying the scents worn by those around her, noting that “training honed that prowess”.
