Astrobotic’s Post
Congrats to Astrobot Alivia Chapla for winning last month's Goose Award 🥇 - acknowledging people who embody the spirit of collaboration & team work. Q: How did you first become interested in your career? A: In my early college days, curriculum for business students included case studies highlighting unusual marketing strategies. The psychology and execution of it all really caught my imagination and started me on the marketing path. Q: What do you like most about your job? A: The people! Hopefully with my efforts in PR for Astrobotic, the world will soon join me in recognizing the incredible group I get to call my colleagues. From a National Geographic explorer to an astronomer with experience at the Antarctic South Pole Telescope - there isn't a shortage of brilliant minds or humorous conversations. Q: What project are you currently working on? A: All I'm saying is you may or may not have some Astrobotic merch coming at you in 2021... Q: What are 3 words to describe Astrobotic? A: Lively, Captivating, Industrious Q: What would people never guess you do in your role? A: Sometimes, I get to use my art world experience for graphic design projects! I'm also pleased to say I am coordinating an Astrobotic toy drive for the holiday season.

“This success marks a major program milestone for Peregrine mission as well as for Astrobotic as a company. Confirming the technical capabilities of our team and our custom-built avionics and communications systems in a sophisticated, system-level spacecraft test was a tremendous success. Seeing the entire team overcome test challenges felt close to flying the actual mission. This is a great accomplishment for our historic trip to the Moon,” - Ander Solorzano, Flight Director & Lead Systems Engineer https://lnkd.in/eE4cXkEt #NASA #space #success
